Man With Gun Grabs Cash From OKC Family Dollar Store

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police need help finding a man who robbed a Family Dollar Store in southwest Oklahoma City.

The man walked into the store at 3618 Newcastle Road the morning of Monday, June 6. He demanded the clerk give him money, but when she didn't immediately produce the cash, he took out a handgun and pointed it at her.

The man grabbed the money and drove away in a maroon, four-door car. Witnesses say the license plate may have had 715 as its first three numbers.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

Police have asked anyone who recognizes the robber to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300.
