CASHION, Oklahoma -- When a Cashion family need help cleaning up after last week's tornados, they not only called in their family, but they also called in the Marines.

Pfc. Dustin Buckner could only watch last Tuesday as a tornado ripped into his hometown, the place where he had lived since fourth grade.

"My mom was texting me the whole time," said Buckner.  "Saying 'We're going to the shelter, this is all going to happen.'"

When Buckner told his superiors at Camp Pendleton, they told him he needed to make a road trip back home, but that he needed to take two Marines with him to help with the twenty-two hour drive.  Buckner didn't hesitate to ask his good friends James Belohlavek and Robert Southwick.

"I couldn't say no," said Southwick.  "I wanna help him out as much as I can 'cause I know if something happened in Long Island, New York and I asked him to go he would do the same for me."

Seeing tornado damage firsthand was new for Southwick, who's from New York, and Belohlavek, who's from North Dakota. They both admitted though, to being inspired by the resilient spirit of the Oklahomans they've worked with.

"Working with these kind of people, it doesn't bring you down," said Belohlavek.  "It makes your spirit kinda up."
