Murray County Deputy Beating

MURRAY COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A Murray County Deputy is hospitalized at a metro hospital after getting beaten unconscious over the weekend.

Police say Deputy Craig Billings was off duty, out of uniform, and driving his personal vehicle when got into an altercation along a Sulphur street early Saturday morning.

A neighbor of Billings was shocked to hear the news.

"It's absolutely amazing," says April Hicks. "I'm speechless."

No arrests have been made in the incident, and the investigation is on-going.
