OKLAHOMA CITY -- A lost and found area has been set up for tornado victims in Piedmont.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, chaplains Jack & Phyllis Poe, along with the Southern Baptist Convention, have established a lost & found site at the First Baptist Church in Piedmont. The church is located at 15 Jackson Avenue N.W., which is in the northwest corner of Piedmont Road and Jackson Avenue.

This site will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Residents and volunteers involved in the Piedmont tornado cleanup can bring property found to this location. The group of volunteers is establishing a cataloged database of items collected in order to try to return as many personal items to the owners as possible.

As the cleanup goes along, everyone is encouraged to take personal items found to this location. In addition, those looking for particular items can go by to see if any of their own personal items have been recovered and turned in.
