News 9 is teaming with the American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma to help raise money for victims of this week's storm.

All day Friday, we will host a phone bank at our station to raise money.

To make a donation, call (405) 841-9196. The phone bank will open at 9:30 a.m. and run through 10:30 p.m.

Donations go to Red Cross Disaster Relief used to cover all natural disasters including the Oklahoma tornadoes. However, if you ask that the donation be earmarked for a specific disaster in a specific location, the Red Cross will honor that request.  Meaning, if you want you donation to help tornado relief in Oklahoma, tell them at the time of donation.

Nearly 400 Red Cross volunteers responded to Tuesday's tornado outbreak in central Oklahoma.

The Red Cross supports seven shelters for survivors and has served more than 2,000 meals.
