OKLAHOMA CITY -- Governor Mary Fallin recognized a group of Oklahoma women Thursday who aren't afraid of getting their hands a little dirty.

Gov. Fallin is the honorary chair of the Women Build group, which is building its 10th Habitat for Humanity home in the last 10 years.

The Women Build program recognizes the accomplishments of women volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.

About 95 percent of the volunteers working on the house Governor Fallin visited Thursday happened to be women.

The volunteers have only been working on the house for one week and plan to be finished in about three weeks.

The Woman Build program has helped build more than 1,800 homes.
