OKLAHOMA CITY -- A northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex suffered some severe damage during Tuesday's storms.
Winds peeled the roof off the complex near N.W. 122nd and Broadway Extension.
Those who live there said around 3:30 p.m. the sky turned pitch black and then metal started flying.

"It was reminiscent of Wizard of Oz. That's the only thing I can say. It was metal coming from every direction. Hitting the apartment, hitting the walls, hitting everything,"said apartment resident Pam Frame who just moved to Oklahoma in February.
The winds peeled the metal roof off four apartments and scattered sheet medal for hundreds of feet, soaking those who live underneath.
"A lot of wet carpet and a lot of wet surfaces everywhere," is how Brian Dwyer described the damage inside his home.
