OKLAHOMA CITY -- Blake Freeman and his brother Cash have been chasing down wanted fugitives for nearly three years, but what happened recently to two bounty hunters is something neither man could have expected.
"Most of the time we show up, [fugitives] realize the games up, but he was just that desperate to get away," said Blake Freeman with Elite Fugitive Recovery.
Freeman is referring to 31-year-old Rudolfo Sambrano Jr. who Oklahoma City police said was wanted on four warrants out of Canadian County.
The Freeman brothers caught up with Sambrano at a residence in southwest Oklahoma City. They tried tazing him, but it did nothing to stop him.
"Due to the amount of drugs he was on, it didn't stop him and he took off," Blake said.
Sambrano ended up leading the brothers on a high-speed chase through the streets of Oklahoma City, topping out at speeds of a 130 miles per hour.
"[Sambrano] was willing to put everybody on the road at risk no matter what costs," Cash said.
With the help of Oklahoma City police, Sambrano eventually stopped near I-240 and Penn. It was there police discovered two large bags of meth.
"It's senseless to be that irresponsible, just stupid of the law," Cash said.
Both brothers are now credited with helping to take drugs off the street and putting Sambrano behind bars.
"Don't ever run from us because we are going to get you," Blake said.
Also arrested was likely a relative of Sambrano's. Both men were arrested on drug possessions charges as well as trafficking of meth.
