Police Arrest Suspect In OKC Car Wash Homicide

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police arrested a man Wednesday suspected of fatally shooting a man at a car wash in northeast Oklahoma City.

Aornes Smith turned himself in Wednesday at the Oklahoma County Jail. Officers arrested the 28 year old on a charge unrelated to the homicide. Detectives then questioned Smith and decided to arrest him on a complaint of first-degree murder in the death of 28-year-old Cecil Gregory.

Gregory was shot and killed Tuesday at a car wash near N.E. 36th Street and Kelley Avenue.
