BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- A Bartlesville man was ordered to spend extra time in jail after letting go a string of expletives following a video arraignment Monday morning in Washington County District Court.

Kenneth Thompson, 44, had just been arraigned on a domestic assault and battery charge when he started cursing as he walked away from the camera in the jail.

Washington County District Court judge Curtis DeLapp, who was presiding over the arraignment, heard Thompson's comments.

He immediately found Thompson in contempt of court and ordered him to serve 30 days in the Washington County jail.
