UNDATED -- Saturday, April 2 marks Tax Freedom Day in Oklahoma. It's the date on which we've worked long enough to have earned enough money to pay this year's local, state and federal tax obligations.
And here's some good news: Oklahoma's date is ahead of the average by 10 days. The average day for Americans is April 12th.
Each state is different because residents pay different amounts of state and local taxes.
