OKLAHOMA CITY – A 10,000 mile motorcycle mission by a group in Bethany has been postponed after one of their riders was injured in a wreck in Argentina.

Doug Eaton was riding with the group called Miles With A Mission. They're riding 10,000 miles from the southern tip of South America back to Bethany, Oklahoma raising money for several different causes.

In February, Eaton crashed in Argentina. He broke several ribs and had to be taken 75 miles to the nearest hospital for emergency surgery to stop internal bleeding. He's now back in Oklahoma recovering.

"The accident happened February 18. We plan to go back to Argentina and begin the ride exactly 12 months later on February 19 and continue the remaining 8500 miles back to Oklahoma," said Eaton.

Until February 2012, the groups' motorcycles will stay in storage in Argentina.
