TULSA, Oklahoma -- It's practically a steal.

A Tulsa congregation buys a new church home for just one dollar and our camera was there for the Oklahoma moment.

People's Bank owner David Johnson sold his building on North Peoria to a Spanish outreach ministry of the Lighthouse Church.

Johnson's long-time friend, Pastor Gary Howard, handed over a $2 bill Friday--one dollar for a year's lease, the other dollar to actually buy the building.

"We feel like it's not only a gift from the generosity of Mr. Johnson, but a gift from the Lord so we're very, very excited about it," Howard said.

"You come back in a year and you won't recognize it. They will have turned it into a real church. All of a sudden there will be vibrant activity in this part of town," Johnson said.

The Lighthouse church also has outreach programs in Kellyville, Inola, and Beggs.
