YUKON, Oklahoma – Three men were arrested for burglary after targeting unlocked cars and garages in Yukon Sunday.
During a routine patrol on Sunday, March 13, a Corporal saw some suspicious men walking in the 800 block of Arlington Drive at about 5 a.m. carrying various items including coins and a gaming system.
Yukon police arrested 19-year-old Jarred Matthew Lynch, 19-year-old Alvin George Pollock. Police said Shea A. Leaver dropped a backpack with stolen goods, including a stolen gun and tried to escape but police located him and arrested the 18-year-old.
Lynch and Pollock are Yukon residents and Leaver is from Edmond. They were booked into the Yukon jail with charges of burglary in the second-degree. Their individual bonds were set at $10,000. Pollock was also placed under arrest for public intoxication in addition to the burglary charge.
Police said Lynch admitted to entering an open garage door and taking a gaming system, GPS, and glasses as among the items he stole from the home. Pollock admitted to taking coins out of unlocked vehicles.
Police said Lynch also added they were looking for unlocked cars or garage doors and he would take items from the vehicles' or garages.
