OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police have arrested two people accused of breaking into an AT&T store in an Oklahoma City strip mall.

A burglary alarm went off around 6:30 a.m. Monday at the store on W. Memorial Road near N. Penn. Ave. When an officer arrived, he noticed the front window had been broken. He also saw two people, a man and a woman, running inside the store.

The officer caught the female suspect as she ran out of the back door. When he couldn't locate the other burglary suspect, he called for backup. Police found footprints on a freshly painted wall, indicating the man may be hiding in the ceiling.

Officers searched the ceiling area, but didn't find the burglary suspect. After an hour of searching, a police dog located the suspect in some bushes outside the store.

"Our K9 officer just took a chance to put his dog on the ground and check the area, the direction we knew the suspect had to run," said Oklahoma City Police Lt. Brett Macy. "And that much after the incident he was able to catch him bedded down in some bushes."

Police said the suspect had stolen iPads, iPhones and cases from the store. He and the other suspect were arrested.
