Babysitter Finds Edmond 9-Month-Old Not Breathing

Edmond Police said they are investigating the death of a 9-month-old baby boy after he was found not breathing Wednesday night.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Edmond Police said they are investigating the death of a 9-month-old baby boy after he was found not breathing Wednesday night.

Police said the infant's babysitter discovered the boy was not breathing 30 minutes after she put him down for a nap. The baby was transported to a hospital where he died.

Police are still investigating the incident and have not released the cause of the infant's death. The names of the parents and babysitter have not been released pending the conclusion of the investigation.
