ALTUS, Oklahoma -- Emergency officials have ordered residents in Blair to evacuate due to a wildfire in the area.

Blair resident between County Road 204 and 207 along County Road 156 are being told to evacuate south. County road 156 at U.S. 283 has been closed because of the fire, but there are no highways shut down at this time.

A grass fire in the Texas Panhandle has caused evacuations in Amarillo and closed some roads in Oklahoma. The east and westbound lanes of SH-152 in Beckham County for a two mile section -- from 4 miles east of SH-30 to 6 miles east of SH-30-- were closed Sunday evening due to heavy smoke from that grass fire but were reopened a couple hours later.
