OKLAHOMA CITY -- Authorities are seeking cross-dressing man who robbed a northwest Oklahoma City Bank of the West at 9:25 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities said an armed man wearing a wig, a surgical mask over his mouth and carrying a purse entered the bank at 5401 N.W. 23rd Street, and demanded cash, saying "give me the money. No funny money and no dye packs." The robber then stuffed the cash into his purse and left traveling east on N.W. 23rd on foot.

The robber was described as a black male, approximately 6'2" tall, and weighed about 180 pounds. The robber wore a white zip-up hoodie jacket with a design on it, a black shirt underneath the hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.

Witnesses said the robber may have been using the surgical mask to hide some kind of skin discoloration around his mouth.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery should call the FBI at 405-290-7774. Callers can remain anonymous.
