OKLAHOMA CITY -- An ATV accident in south Lincoln County sent three people to the hospital, including a 3-year-old and 1-year-old.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the driver of the ATV was identified as 27-year-old Julie Walker.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said three-year-old Olivia moved from the seat to the floorboard, causing Walker to become distracted. A family members of Walker's, who didn't want to be identified, said Walker reached down to grab the child and lost control of the ATV causing it to slam into a tree.

Troopers on scene said Walker was transported to OU Medical Center to be checked out, but was not injured. The two children were taken to OU's Children's Hospital. One-year-old Emily has been listed in critical condition. The three-year-old was treated for minor injuries to her head, trunk and extremities.

Following the accident, family members said the 1-year-old had a noticeable size bruise on its head and was throwing up.

A family member transported the injured by car until they met up with authorities who then took Walker and the two children to the hospital.

Troopers aren't sure how fast the ATV was going at the time, but the four-wheeler did sustain significant damage to the front end. The impact also caused the glass front window on the ATV to break.

Authorities said the four-wheeler did have seat belts and Walker was wearing one but the two children were not.
