Silver Alert Canceled For Missing Elderly Sand Springs Man

EDMOND, Oklahoma – Edmond Police have canceled a silver alert for an 87-year-old Sand Springs man who went missing Tuesday afternoon in Edmond.

Donald Carter was last seen wearing gray sweat pants, a blue flannel shirt with a gray undershirt and a beige fishing hat.

Sand Springs Police say they located Carter at his Sand Springs residence early Wednesday morning and said he is good condition.

Carter was following his daughter home and was somehow turned one way while his daughter turned another way.

The 87-year-old has a history of pulmonary embolism and possible dementia.
