CHEROKEE, Oklahoma -- A Cherokee Police officer was arrested Saturday night for aggravated assault.
Investigators with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation determined Cherokee Police Officer David Cole, 46, assaulted a woman inside an apartment at 300 West Cherokee.
Cole had only been working for the police department for a week.
The OSBI is continuing to investigate the incident.
