NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Police are continuing their investigation into a fatal motorcycle accident in southeast Norman.

Officer say 68-year-old Delbert Dodd of Norman was riding his motorcycle on 60th Avenue S.E. about 3:10 p.m. Thursday when he apparently pulled into the path of a pickup truck that was driving west on State Highway 9. Dodd was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Norman Police Sgt. Jennifer Newell said 28-year-old Emily Dawn Balch, the driver of the truck, was listed in serious condition at a Norman hospital.

Newell told the Norman Transcript that Dodd wasn't wearing a helmet and Balch wasn't wearing a seat belt.
