OKLAHOMA CITY – Police and the FBI are searching for a suspect involved in an attempted robbery and a second robbery of two Oklahoma City banks Friday.

Police responded to a robbery call at a Chase bank on N.W. 36th Street and May Avenue Friday afternoon.

An FBI spokesperson said a man walked up to a teller and passed a note saying he had a gun and wanted money, but no dye packs or transmitters. When the clerk went to put money in a bag, the suspect took off.

Authorities say the same man may be responsible for another bank robbery just hours later.

A surveillance camera caught the suspect at an IBC bank on N. May Avenue. The suspect used the same plan of action for this robbery except he actually got away with cash during the second theft.

If you recognize him, call the FBI at (405) 290-7770.
