WAGONER COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A mobile home was completely destroyed by fire in the 28500 block of East 4th Street in Wagoner County Saturday night at about 10:30.

Responding firefighters thought the home was vacant at first because the doors and windows were boarded.

Later they learned that the trailer was occupied, but no one was at home at the time of the fire.

Firefighters did not make entry into the structure because of the increased risk from the boarded up exits.

The road to the property was still covered with ice and snow, blocking fire trucks from getting very close to the blaze.

Firefighters had to run 400 feet of hose to the closest water source and an additional 300 feet from the truck to the structure.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Crews from Oak Grove Fire Department were assisted by Rolling Hills and Catoosa Departments.
