OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City firefighters braved the extreme, arctic cold while putting out a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City.
Crews were called to a house near N.W. 50th Street and Meridian just before noon Wednesday. When they arrived, flames and smoke were shooting through the roof. Because of the fire's intensity, crews had to battle it from outside.
It took firefighters about 40 minutes to extinguish the fire. No one was hurt.
It's not known yet what started the fire.
