Metro Restaurants Open For Those 'Forced' To Work

While most of the Oklahoma City metro is shut down, all Deep Fork restaurants are open Tuesday. Employees working at the various restaurants volunteered to help those who had to be out in the storm.

OKLAHOMA CITY – While most of the Oklahoma City metro is shut down, all Deep Fork restaurants are open Tuesday.

Employees working at the various restaurants volunteered and were offered rides to and from work. The employees said they wanted to help serve the media, city workers and others who had to be out helping the community.

The Deep Fork group said from Mexican to pizza, their full menus are available except for fresh deliveries that didn't arrive because of the storm.

The following restaurants are open:

Deep Fork Grill – 5418 N. Western Ave., OKC – Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Chica's Mexican Café – 6482 Avondale Drive, Nichols Hills – Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Café Nova – 4308 N. Western Ave., OKC – Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Wedge Pizzeria – 4709 N. Western Ave. & 230 N.E. 1st Street, OKC, Open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m./5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Mantel Wine Bar & Bistro – 201 E. Sheridan, Downtown OKC – Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Drunken Fry – 5100 Classen Circle, OKC – Open 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Blue Note Lounge – 2408 N. Robinson Ave., OKC – Open 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
