CHICKASHA, Oklahoma -- A Chickasha man could possibly spend fifteen years in prison for alleged sexual encounters with a pair of underage girls.

Rocky Wade McGuire, 28, is in the Grady County jail charged with three counts of second-degree rape. First-degree rape means rape by force or fear. But since McGuire is twice the age of his alleged victims, it's technically statutory rape.

"Both youths that were involved with this were under the age of 16, and therefore by law they cannot legally consent to sex," said Chickasha Police Major Elip Moore.

According to court documents, the investigation of the incidents began at Ninnekah High School, after a tip from local police. One of the sexual encounters may have occurred there.

The court documents also state the two girls, ages 14 and 15, told investigators that they had intercourse with McGuire at a Chickasha hotel on different occasions in August.

"Whenever you have somebody that's 28-years-old taking advantage of innocence, it's in my opinion inexcusable," said Major Moore.

Charges were filed against the 28-year-old in December, but McGuire was only recently arrested in Texas and brought back to Oklahoma.

If McGuire is convicted of second-degree rape, he faces up to 15 years in prison.

He is currently being held on $150,000 bond and is due back in court on February 9.
