MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- Two Midwest City teens were in court Friday morning for a preliminary hearing.

Prosecutors said Dewayne Kemp and De Aungelo Johnson broke into a Midwest City home in October. The homeowner, Amanda Walworth, had been burglarized several times before and she opened fire on the teens to protect her children who were inside the home at the time of the burglary.

A third robber, 15-year-old Marquis Patterson, was killed.

Kemp and Johnson are facing charges in Patterson's death.
