MOORE, Oklahoma – A wanted sex offender was found hiding in the attic by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office Warrant Team.

The warrant team received a tip that Frank Lamsom was staying at a residence in the 1000 block of N.W. 2nd Street. Deputies arrived at the home and once inside heard sounds coming from the attic. They found him hiding and were eventually able to get him down.

Frank Lamson was arrested on a complaint of failure to register as a sex offender. He is currently being held in the Oklahoma County Detention Center.

The 53-year-old was arrested for the same crime in 2007, but received a suspended sentence. He was convicted for rape and lewd acts with a child under the age of 16 in 1992.
