OKLAHOMA CITY -- Cameras set up to record images of deer instead took pictures of a couple of burglars making off with thousands of dollars worth of household appliances in northeast Oklahoma City.

Police say the two suspects, a man and a woman, burglarized the house twice.  On Dec. 22, they kicked in the front door of the home.  It was being renovated, so the homeowner had several appliances, still in their boxes, sitting inside.

Police say the suspects strapped a stolen range to the hood of their small, four-door car and drove away.  They returned the next day with a pickup truck and took several more items, including a washer, dryer, disposal and oven.

The stolen items were worth more than $5,000.

The couple did not seem to realize their every move was being watched.  The homeowner had set up a motion-sensitive deer camera, which captured several images of the burglars as they hauled away their loot.

Anyone who knows the identities of the two burglary suspects should call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300.
