Oklahoma City Police Arrest Suspect In Home Invasion, Shooting

Oklahoma City police have arrested a man in connection to an early morning home invasion.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police have arrested a man in connection to an early morning home invasion.

According to Oklahoma City police, a homeowner shot a man who was breaking into the home overnight in the 3000 block of N.W. 65th Street. 

A clerk at a convenience store at 3600 N.W. 63rd Street called police to say a man had entered the store saying he had been shot. Authorities linked the shooting victim to the home invasion that had occurred earlier just a few blocks away.

Police said the suspect was taken to an area hospital in an unknown condition at about 5:30 a.m.

No other injuries were reported.

No names were released.
