Tulsa Police Investigate The City's 62nd Homicide Of The Year

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man was found dead inside a home at 26th Place North and Norfolk Friday morning. 

Tulsa Police received the call around 4:30 a.m. from a friend who found the victim down inside the home.  That friend had gone to a nearby convenience store to call 911. 

When officers arrived, they found the victim dead of a single gunshot wound to the chest. 

According to police, the home is considered a "flop house" where many people stay. 

Police say before or after midnight someone walked up to the open front door and fired multiple shots, hitting the victim in the chest. 

Tulsa Police do not have any suspects at this time.  They have not released the identity of the victim.
