OKLAHOMA CITY – Workers at Chesapeake Energy donated more than 200 teddy bears to EMSA to give to injured children over the holidays.

EMSA workers will give the bears to kids who have to be treated or transported in an ambulance. They said the bears are a great tool to help scared kids.

"And when we have children in the back of our ambulances that are sick, we use the bears to help us treat the children. Sometimes the kiddos are afraid of us, so we use the bears as a tool to help assess the children," said EMSA worker Danielle Cain.

Chesapeake held a toy drive to collect all the bears, and even decorated a Christmas tree with the bears on one of the floors of their headquarters.
