Man Robs Check Cashing Center In Moore Walmart

MOORE, Oklahoma -- Moore police have released surveillance images of a man who robbed the new check cashing center at the Walmart at S.W. 19th Street and Telephone Road.

The man walked into the store at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 18. He handed the cashier a note that told her she had 10 seconds to fill a bag with money. He also told her to be quiet and said he had a gun.

The cashier gave the man all the money in the register, and he left the store.

Police are asking people to take a good look at surveillance images from the store. Anyone with information about the suspect's identity should call Moore police at 793-5142.
