OKLAHOMA CITY -- It's the last call for rock and roll at the Oklahoma History Center. The exhibit of "Another Hot Oklahoma Night ," a history of rock and roll exhibit, is coming ending this month.

Oklahoma has had an active role in the music industry as Leon Russell's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this spring confirms.

"Our visitors continue to be amazed at the number of Oklahomans instrumental in the rock and roll industry, and are fascinated with their stories," said Museum Director Dan Provo.

"The holiday season is perfect time to bring the family to the Oklahoma History Center to view this exhibit before it closes."

Exhibits include retrospectives of popular Oklahoma musicians including Russell, the Hansons,  Flaming Lips, Kings of Leon and more. There are recreations of a psychedelic teen bedroom from the 1970s, rock and roll fashions and more.

The Oklahoma History Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It is located just east of the State Capitol on NE 23rd Street.

Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, $4 for students and free for children five and under. Or the whole family can get in for $18.

The exhibit will be moving to Tulsa in the spring of 2011.
