DEWEY, Oklahoma -- A Green Country couple worked a month and a half to get their Christmas display ready. Charles and Audrey Eden, of Dewey, have Christmas decorations up outside, but wait until you see the inside.

The Edens have Christmas trees everywhere.

"I've got a good assortment around here," Audrey Eden said. "They're all pretty in their own way."

There are trees in the kitchen, the bedrooms, the laundry room, even the bathroom. There's even one in the tub.

"Part of it is a hobby, and most of all I love Christmas," Audrey said.

That could be the understatement of the holiday season. There are 115 Christmas trees all through the home, decorated with somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,000 ornaments.

"Whatever I come across, it may come home with me. So watch out," she said, laughing.

It takes seven weeks to put up the trees and about that long to take them all down. But to the Edens, it's worth it.

"Some say I'm crazy, but most of them tell me it's just gorgeous and they can't believe that I go through all this work to do this, because they do good to put up one tree," Audrey said.

The trees come in every size and each one has its own unique theme.

"Pez tree, circus tree," she said.

There are hunting and fishing trees.

"Wizard of Oz, Mickey Mouse," Audrey explained.

There's a casino themed tree.

"Betty Boop, Lucy," Audrey said. "Smores tree, a retro tree, disco tree."

There's even a firecracker tree. No explanation needed why it's not wrapped in electric cords and lights.

With so many trees, so many ornaments, so many themes, Audrey Eden still has her favorites: the upside down nativity tree and the family's first Christmas tree topper.

"If you're not in the holiday spirit when you leave my house, you're a sad person," she said, laughing.

The Edens' Christmas spirit grows as every tree and ornament is added, and with every Oklahoma Christmas that goes by.

"It just makes me want to go out and get more," she said.

Charles Eden says there are so many Christmas trees that when the lights are all turned on, the temperature in the house goes up seven degrees.
