OKC Apartment Fire Causes Several Residents To Lose Home

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A fire prompted the evacuation of 25 people from their Oklahoma City apartments Saturday night.

Firefighters said the fire spread through a breezeway to three floors of the apartments in the 5000 block of N.W. 50th Street. They believe it was started by discarded smoking material.

Investigators said the damage caused by the fire was minimal and estimate it will cost about $10,000 to fix.
