JONES, Oklahoma -- After seeing a news report about a miniature stallion missing from an equine rescue group, a woman reported finding the horse.

The owner of the rescue received a call from a woman who said she took the horse home after finding "Short Stuff" earlier in the week near the intersection of Triple X and Britton roads.

Workers at Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue in Jones noticed the horse was missing on Nov. 25. They conducted an extensive search, but could not find the animal so they contacted the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies looked around the corral, but did not find any gaping holes. There were also six other miniature horses still in the pen.

Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue has since picked up the horse and returned it to their property. It is still unknown how the horse got out of the corral or who might have stolen the horse then left it in the rural area of northeast Oklahoma County.

The horse is 18-years-old and partially blind.
