OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man at the center of a Consumer Watch investigation is now facing felony charges.

Back in July 2009, Consumer Watch's Amanda Taylor met Baron Hopgood, who was a preacher and entrepreneur.

Several of his former employees said Hopgood gave them pay checks that bounced. We found more victims at a church in Fort Worth and in Lawton where Hopgood moved the Cavalry basketball team when he was part owner.

The Department of Labor had several complaints against Hopgood as well. When they found out Hopgood was coming to News 9 for an interview, they served him papers.

Hopgood turned himself in to the Midwest City Police Department Tuesday on an outstanding felony warrant for a bogus check $1,000.

Hopgood was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
