Woman Arrested For Robbing Metro Bank, 7 Cash Advance Centers

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City woman has been arrested for robbing a bank and several cash advance centers across the city.

A U.S. District judge sentenced 29-year-old Rachel Diane Moyer to 45 months in federal prison, three years of supervised release upon her release from prison and to pay $7,075 in restitution for robbing a Bank of Oklahoma and seven cash advance payday loan centers in a span of five months.

Moyer admitted to using a toy or BB gun during some of the robberies.

Moyer pleaded guilty to the following eight robberies during her five-month crime spree:

• May 15, 2009, robbery of Check Into Cash, a cash advance payday loan center located at 10906 North Pennsylvania Avenue, in Oklahoma City;

• May 29, 2009, robbery of Bank of Oklahoma, located at 10700 South Pennsylvania Avenue, in Oklahoma City;

• June 20, 2009, robbery of Check n' Go, a cash advance payday loan center located at 12233 North Pennsylvania Avenue, in Oklahoma City;

• July 8, 2009, robbery of First American Cash Advance, a cash advance payday loan center located at 7101 Northwest Expressway, in Oklahoma City;

• September 9, 2009, robbery of Check n' Go, a cash advance payday loan center located at 12233 North Pennsylvania Avenue, in Oklahoma City;

• September 9, 2009, robbery of Approved Cash Advance, a cash advance payday loan center located at 1529 West Britton Road, in Oklahoma City;

• September 18, 2009, robbery of Advance America, a cash advance payday loan center located at 16309 North Santa Fe Avenue, in Edmond; and

• September 18, 2009, robbery of First American Cash Advance, a cash advance payday loan center located at 7101 Northwest Expressway, in Oklahoma City.
