OKLAHOMA CITY -- A local man has been hospitalized with second-degree burns to his arms after going back in to a burning home to try and put it out.

Oklahoma City firefighters said they were called out to the home in the 1200 block of N.W. 107th Street just before 11 p.m. Thursday night.

Firefighters said all four inside were able to get out and that the fire may have started after someone fell asleep while smoking.

Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly and said about 25 percent of the home was damaged.

No names were released.
