LOCUST GROVE, Oklahoma -- The five-year-old son of a Broken Arrow woman was pronounced dead at the scene of crash on state Highway 82 in Mayes County Tuesday evening.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the 5-year-old and a 4-year-old girl were not in child restraints at the time of the accident.

Kaden Tyson died at the scene after being pinned under the SUV.

Troopers say the SUV was southbound about 1.5 miles south of Locust Grove when it went off the road and the driver, 22-year-old Uressa Meely overcorrected, causing the SUV to roll, landing on its side.

The 4-year-old was not injured.

Two other small children in the vehicle who were also in the SUV, were in child restraints and they were not injured.

Meely was flown by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital, where she was treated and released.
