OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma is leading the way when it comes to fostering creativity in culture, business and education, so the state was chosen to host the 2010 Creativity World Forum in Oklahoma City.
Business leaders from around the world are in town learning new and innovative ways to succeed. One session featured ideas impacting humanity around the world, including creative solutions for clean water.
Hundreds of Oklahoma students filled up jugs of dirty water to represent the people around the world who have to walk miles for clean water. They walked from the Bass Pro Shop to the Cox Convention Center to illustrate this struggle.
The Oklahoma Impact Team's Alex Cameron moderated the forum and Ken Surritte, founder of Water is Life in Edmond, talked about his water filter straws that are providing clean drinking water for a year.
The creativity forum runs through Wednesday night.
