My 2 Cents: Airport Security Full Body Scanners

OKLAHOMA CITY -- We're coming up on the busiest travel day of the year, and it could be a nightmare.

There is a grassroots movement to protest those full body scanners at the airport, or electronic strip searches as some call them, the day before Thanksgiving.

I've had concerns about the scanners for awhile, privacy concerns.

I understand why the TSA likes the scanners, but despite their assurances, I'm not totally convinced the body scan images will all disappear after the scans.

But if you opt out of the scan you have to submit to the enhanced pat down which some travelers have called groping, just about every part of the body is touched.

And it could really bog down travel next week.

Are we being a bit over-reactive at this point, aren't the terrorists winning if every bizarre terror attempt like the underwear bomber causes every American to give up more of our privacy.

It's not a decision we have to make in Oklahoma City yet because we don't have the full body scanners, but we will more than likely fairly soon.

Which will you choose, the scan or the full body pat down?
