ENID, Oklahoma – A 24-year-old was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and causing a four car collision that left two people critically injured.

Enid police said three cars were stopped for a train crossing in the 300 block of West Willow Road around 2:00 a.m. Saturday. Police said 24-year-old Vincent Blaine Sixkiller was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to stop, causing a chain reaction of rear-end collisions. Four people were injured, including two with critical injuries, in the four-car crash.

Michelle Schartz, 24, and her passenger Robert Ukena, 31, were transported to an area hospital and are in critical condition in the intensive care unit. Kyle Gould, 18, sustained non-life threatening injuries and drove himself to Bass Integris Hospital where he was treated and released. William Melson, 28, received no injuries; however, a passenger of his identified as Mikki Rodriquez, 27, complained of head pain, but declined medical treatment.

Sixkiller was not injured and appeared intoxicated to the investigating officers. He was arrested and booked into the Garfield County Detention Center on driving under the influence causing an accident involving great bodily injury.

A blood alcohol content test was conducted and the results were submitted to OSBI for testing. Police are still investigating this incident.
