Rolled Over Horse Trailer Closes Portion Of I-44 In OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – The southbound lanes of Interstate 44 just north of S.W. 29th Street in Oklahoma City are shut down.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the road is being blocked by a horse trailer that has rolled over somehow.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.

It is unclear what led to the rollover or how long the roadway will be blocked.
