BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- A hearing for a Bartlesville woman charged with felony child neglect has been delayed until December 3, 2010.

Lyndsey Fiddler was arrested last week after Bartlesville Police found the woman's 10-day-old infant dead inside a washing machine.

The court postponed the hearing after it was learned Fiddler had not yet had a court appointed lawyer.

Fiddler was originally arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, but later charged with felony child neglect.

Washington County Assistant District Attorney Will Drake told News On 6 Friday that the investigation does not warrant a murder charge at this time.

"I don't know if we upped the charges or not, but it's not manslaughter anymore," Drake said.

The DA's office has not ruled out anything in its investigation, including the possibility other children in the home may have been involved.

"I asked [investigators] to interview those children and see," Drake said.

Court papers filed this week say Fiddler was high on drugs, which contributed to her daughter's death.

Fiddler faces the possibility of life in prison if found guilty.
