ENID, Oklahoma – Six people were arrested at an Enid home on multiple charges after the Enid Police Department Narcotics Unit attempted to serve two outstanding felony warrants to a man believed to be hiding at the residence.
Detectives made contact with a female, identified as Regina Parks, at the front door. Detectives advised Parks that they held 2 valid felony arrest warrants for Antonio Lucio Jr. for distribution of a controlled and dangerous substance and that he was believed to be inside of the residence.
Parks told the detectives that Lucio was not home. While detectives were standing at the front door speaking to Parks they smelled a very strong odor of burning marijuana coming from inside the residence. Detectives made contact with several people in the residence as well as two small children ages one and two. It was obvious from the pungent odor of freshly burnt marijuana that the occupants were engaged in smoking marijuana just prior to detectives coming to the home.
Detective found Lucio inside the residence and placed him under arrest for his two outstanding felony warrants. Parks was placed under arrest for harboring a fugitive. The mother of the two small children, Bryanna Davis and her boyfriend Michael Wagner were arrested for possession of marijuana in the presence of a minor child under the age of 12. Jason Hollingshad was found hiding in a closet and was arrested on two outstanding Garfield county warrants. Another female, Samantha Lucio, was also taken into custody on complaints of possession of marijuana in the presence of a minor.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence and during service of that warrant, detectives located marijuana throughout the house. The Enid Police Department Narcotics Unit has been investigating complaints of illegal narcotics being consumed and distributed from this residence. The Narcotics Unit had conducted controlled purchases of Methamphetamine from this residence before.
The Department of Human Services was notified and placed the two small children in a relative's custody.
"It is so very unfortunate that there were two small children who living in the house," Sgt Tanner said. "The children were truly the victims in this case. After speaking with the mother of the children, it was apparent that marijuana had been smoked in front of them before."
The full list of charges for each individual are:
Regina Parks was arrested for harboring a fugitive, possession of marijuana in the presence of a minor, possession of CDS (Methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Antonio Lucio Jr. was arrested on two felony warrants for distribution of a controlled and dangerous substance and for possession of marijuana in the presence of a minor.
