Edmond Police Seek Public's Help Locating Dollar General Robbery Suspect

Edmond police are seeking the public's help identifying a man suspected in the armed robbery of a Dollar General Store Monday morning.

EDMOND, Oklahoma – Edmond police are seeking the public's help identifying a man suspected in the armed robbery of a Dollar General Store Monday morning.

According to police, the suspect walked into the Dollar General Store at 2201 W. Edmond Road where he pulled a handgun on an employee and demanded money. Police said the suspect left on foot, but they believe he left in a nearby parked car.

The suspect is described as a light skinned, black male who is about 20 years old. He is described as about 6'1" in height and has a thin build, thin goatee and possibly a thin beard. He was wearing a grey zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, black stocking cap with a grey stripe around the bottom and was wearing gloves. The car he reportedly left the scene in is described as a small white vehicle, possibly a Honda Accord.
