Suspect Sought In BancFirst Armed Robbery

The FBI is seeking information on a man who robbed the BancFirst located at 11001 N. May Avenue Saturday morning. A reward is offered.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Banc First branch at 11001 N. May Avenue was robbed at about 11 a.m. Saturday, according to James E. Finch Special Agent In Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma.

A white male entered the bank and told the clerk, "Don't pull any funny stuff, no bait," according to the news release. The man was holding a small, black handgun.

He then gathered an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank on foot. No one was injured in the incident.

The robbery suspect is a white male thought to be in his mid 30s to early 40s, 5'10", about 160 pounds with brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a black, maroon and white button up shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.

Anyone with information about the robbery should contact the FBI at 405-290-7770. Callers remain anonymous.

The Oklahoma Banker's Association offers up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and/or conviction of anyone robbing a member bank.
